<p>It looks like <strong>Iggy Azalea </strong>is moving away from music and towards her true passions. The &#8216;Fancy&#8217; singer announced her pivot on X (formerly Twitter) on Jan. 3.</p>
<p>Iggy shared that she no longer plans to drop her fourth studio <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/brandy-reveals-favorite-christmas-album-family-holiday-traditions-video/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">album</a>. Instead, she&#8217;s decided to shelf it for what seemed like a permanent time. For context, Azalea reportedly released her last album, &#8216;The End of an Era&#8217; in August 2021.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Iggy Azalea Says She Wasn&#8217;t &#8220;Bullied Away From Music&#8221;</h3>
<p>Her <a href="https://x.com/IGGYAZALEA/status/1742504027483488693?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lengthy X post</a> highlighted her new direction and apologized to fans disappointed by the tossed project. She began the announcement by warning that X users should<em> &#8220;only bother reading if [they] love [her.]&#8221; </em></p>
<p>And if you&#8217;re a &#8216;hater&#8217; and still choose to read the post, per Iggy, &#8220;you&#8217;re a weirdo.&#8221;</p>

For a long time, I used music to deliver my big crazy ideas to the world. I think I’ve even resisted changes within myself at times, purely because I don’t like being viewed as someone who quits.&#8221;</span></p></blockquote>
<p>Iggy mentioned the &#8220;bullied away from music&#8221; part because innanet users often shared mixed reactions to the rapper&#8217;s musical aspirations. Instead, folks have primarily encouraged the blonde beauty to take her talents (and 5&#8217;10 height) to the modeling scene.</p>
<p>Still, some of the critiques have taken a personal tone, with folks even coming for <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/iggy-azalea-spotted-arriving-in-los-angeles-with-her-baby-boy-photos-inside/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">her son</a> &#8212; which she shares with Playboy Carti.</p>

<p>Then, T.I. fueled distaste for the rapper&#8217;s career in October 2019 after he called signing her to his Grand Hustle label a &#8220;blunder.&#8221; She <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/iggy-azalea-responds-to-t-i-saying-signing-her-was-a-career-blunder-in-a-now-deleted-tweet/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">responded</a> to her former mentor, alleging his list of blunders is already long enough with her.</p>
<p>Later that same month, Iggy Azalea took to X to respond to Tip again after he claimed she &#8220;switched up&#8221; for white fans. Speaking on the Breakfast Club, T.I. said:</p>
<p><strong><em>&#8220;I feel like she was meant to be great. As far as I&#8217;m concerned, I feel like when she found out white people liked her and she didn&#8217;t really need Black people to like her anymore, she switched up, started acting different, made moves that I wasn&#8217;t proud of that kind of placed my reputation in the line of fire. And she was very arrogant about it.&#8221; </em></strong></p>

She alleged that T.I.&#8217;s only contribution to her musical success happened with the track &#8216;100.&#8217; Iggy added,<em> &#8220;Thank you for that, but you were NOT a part of the creative OR executive process on that album, which is why I&#8217;ve always taken issue with you trying to approximate yourself with its success.&#8221; </em></div>

<p>After clarifying her album wasn&#8217;t &#8220;bullied&#8221; into the &#8216;toss&#8217; pile, she explained what career she&#8217;s headed into next.</p>
<p><strong><em><span class="css-1qaijid r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">&#8220;In truth, what I&#8217;ve known for a long time is that I feel more passionately about design and creative direction than I do about songwriting. To many of you, that&#8217;s no shock to read. It shows in my work. </span><span class="css-1qaijid r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">Haha! Jokes aside, I do spend a lot more time on that part of things… because I&#8217;m most confident at that.&#8221;</span></em></strong></p>
<p>Iggy Azalea also shared that she will &#8221; not finish&#8221; her album.</p>
<p><em><strong><span class="css-1qaijid r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">&#8220;That&#8217;s why I want to let you know that I&#8217;m not going to finish my album. It&#8217;s been paused for a few months while I was giving direction for a different project &; in truth, I just haven&#8217;t felt the urge to go back to it. I feel really happy &; passionate in my day-to-day life when my mind focused on that, and so I want to stick to what&#8217;s undeniably best for me.&#8221; </span></strong></em></p>
<p>Iggy said she &#8220;can&#8217;t wait&#8221; to share some of her new projects. As for her fans, she said she&#8217;s <em>&#8220;sorry to let [them] down&#8221;</em> but added that<em> &#8220;it&#8217;s more important [she doesn&#8217;t] let [herself] down.&#8221; </em></p>
