<p>Iggy Azalea prefers not to be mentioned, especially if Playboi Carti is the person doing the talking! If you&#8217;re just tuning into their story, Iggy and Carti share an almost two-year-old son named Onyx . On Tuesday and Wednesday, she took to Twitter to shut down recent claims Playboi made while interviewing with <em>XXL. </em>To her, his words don&#8217;t reflect their real-life interactions, which apparently include no direct contact.</p>
<h3><strong>Iggy Shuts Down Carti&#8217;s Care-Taking Comment</strong></h3>
<p>While answering questions about his fatherhood likes and experience, Playboi focused on the responsibilities of his role. In a few words, he told the publication he takes care of &#8220;a lot of people,&#8221; along with their bills. His spoken list included his mother, family, &#8220;baby mom,&#8221; and their son.</p>
<p>But <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/iggy-azalea-says-she-thinks-record-labels-should-hire-psychologists-for-their-artists/">Iggy says</a> Playboi is pushing that answer a lil&#8217; too far&#8211;at least the part that mentions her.</p>

<p>Iggy tweeted in reaction on April 12, the same day the <a href="https://www.xxlmag.com/playboi-carti-interview/">online version of Carti&#8217;s interview</a> was released.</p>

<p>While responding to Iggy&#8217;s tweet, user @smurkiojay pointed out the &#8220;many nice things&#8221; Carti said. The first time Carti mentioned Iggy by name in the article, he spoke on Onyx&#8217;s upcoming birthday on April 27 and his &#8220;crazy chain&#8221; gift.</p>
<h3><strong>Playboi Carti Compliments Iggy As A Mother </strong></h3>
<p>After describing their son as &#8220;beautiful,&#8221; he spoke tenderly about Iggy&#8217;s <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/iggy-azalea-clapped-back-at-commenters-who-came-for-her-son-because-he-wore-a-dinosaur-outfit/">mothering skills</a>. In fact, Carti even included printing instructions for the <em>XXL</em> writer.</p>

But that’s one of the best mothers in the world,&#8221; Carti said. &#8220;And that’s what you got to put in the book, you hear me? I love her to death. <p>To close the article, the writer asked if there was anything Carti would like to add. He, again, took the time to praise Iggy and Onyx.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Yeah, just make sure [put in] that I love my baby mother. It definitely needs to be known that [Iggy] is the best mother in the world,&#8221; Carti said. &#8220;My son is perfect. He’s too perfect. I need to rough him up a little bit.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<h3><strong>Iggy Azalea Calls Playboi Carti&#8217;s Comments Misleading </strong></h3>
<p>Still, Iggy insisted those compliments aren&#8217;t enough to overshadow their real-life relationship.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;You&#8217;ve been misled,&#8221; Iggy responded to user @smurkiojay. &#8220;I don&#8217;t f*ck with a man I&#8217;m not even remotely on good terms with claiming he pays my bills. I pay my bills. Secondly, saying nice things for an interview sounds great but in real life he talks to me like sh*t so badly I had to stop all direct contact.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>She continued on, claiming that Playboi Carti&#8217;s team had already rung her line about the<em> </em>interview.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;His team has been calling about the interview, hoping for my silence because they know what my reaction would be,&#8221; Iggy tweeted. &#8220;I do appreciate being called a great mom but when that&#8217;s not reflective of what he has to say in real life I&#8217;d much rather be left out of being mentioned at all.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Iggy concluded her Twitter slam by saying she&#8217;s &#8220;sure&#8221; this will be the last time Carti mentions her in an interview. In her words, &#8220;everyone wins.&#8221; Then, she announced she was logging off, before making it clear that she&#8217;s &#8220;a peaceful person.&#8221;</p>
<p>Sometime between Wednesday and Thursday morning, Iggy seemingly deleted her tweets. At this time, Playboi Carti has remained hush about her reaction.</p>
