<p>Ime Udoka has reportedly responded to his ex-fiancée&#8217;s recent filing for full custody of their 11-year-old son. As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/nia-long-files-full-custody-son-ime-udoka/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, Long submitted her custody filing in August.</p>
<p>Additionally, the couple split in December after dating for about 13 years. Their split followed allegations of infidelity against Udoka.</p>

<p>According to court documents reportedly obtained by <a href="https://radaronline.com/p/nia-long-ex-cheating-nba-coach-ime-udoka-demands-joint-custody-11-year-old-custody-battle-court-boston/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Radar Online</a>, Udoka opposes Long&#8217;s request for full, primary custody of their 11-year-old son, Kez.</p>
<p>Additionally, the 46-year-old reportedly requests that he and Long be awarded joint &#8220;legal and physical&#8221; custody of the child. The father is also reportedly seeking visitation rights with Kez.</p>

<p>Lastly, Udoka has also reportedly opposed his ex-fiancée&#8217;s request that he cover her attorneys&#8217; fees.</p>

<p>As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/nia-long-files-full-custody-son-ime-udoka/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, Long filed a petition requesting “sole physical and legal custody” of Kez with the Los Angeles Superior Court in August.</p>
<p>According to <a href="https://radaronline.com/p/nia-long-ex-cheating-nba-coach-ime-udoka-demands-joint-custody-11-year-old-custody-battle-court-boston/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Radar Online</a>, the actor accused Udoka of failing &#8220;to support&#8221; their child in the filing.</p>
<p>Additionally, Long requested that the court give Udoka “reasonable visitation&#8221; with Kez that will be &#8220;consistent with the child’s best interest.&#8221;</p>

<p>As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/nia-long-files-full-custody-son-ime-udoka/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, Long and Udoka split after a 13-year relationship. The pair reportedly met in 2009 and became engaged in 2015.</p>
<p>However, in September 2022, Udoka was discovered to have had an &#8220;intimate relationship&#8221; with a female staff member of the Boston Celtics.</p>

<p>In an interview with <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/nia-long-interview-best-man-franchise-career-1235271504/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Hollywood Reporter</a> following the split, Long explained that the affair was &#8220;very disappointing&#8221; to her and her son. Additionally, she noted that a &#8220;very private situation&#8221; was &#8220;made public.&#8221;</p>
<p>At the time, the 52-year-old shared how her son was handling the news.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;He still has moments where it’s not easy for him… I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public,&#8221; she told the outlet. &#8220;No one from the Celtics organization has even called to see if I’m OK, to see if my children are OK. It’s very disappointing.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Since then, Long has reportedly stated that she will &#8220;continue to focus&#8221; on her children, Kez and her adult son Massai Zhivago Dorsey II, from a previous relationship, as per <a href="https://people.com/tv/nia-long-ime-udoka-break-up-after-alleged-affair-and-suspension-from-boston-celtics/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PEOPLE</a>.</p>
