<p>Back in October, Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay lost his daughter due to gun violence that erupted in the parking of a Cook Out restaurant in Lexington, KY.</p>
<p>Trinity Gay, 15, was struck in the neck as two cars exchanged gunfire, and was pronounced dead at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.</p>
<p>According to the <em><a href="http://www.kentucky.com/news/local/crime/article121291488.html">Lexington Herald Leader</a></em>, Lexington police reported that Chazerae M. Taylor, 38, was indicted on four counts of wanton endangerment “for his role in creating the environment that ultimately led to the death of 15-year-old Trinity Gay.”</p>
<p>Police did not mention who actually fired the weapon that killed Trinity, but investigators say that Taylor caused the eruption that led to the gunfire that claimed the life of the high school track star.</p>
<p>Lamonte Williams, 20, was also indicted on five counts of wanton endangerment and D’Markeo Taylor, 19, on one count of wanton endangerment.</p>
<p>According to police, both Chazerae M. Taylor and and D’Markeo Taylor are father and son.</p>
<p>All three men were originally charged with one count of wanton endangerment, but the additional wanton charges against Chazerae Taylor and Lamonte Williams came about after investigators identified additional people in the parking lot that could have been injured as well.</p>
<p>Police reportedly charged all three men and a fourth man after they allegedly confessed to the shooting. However, until a grand jury’s indictment, no homicide charges can be filed at the time.</p>
<p>Monday December 12<sup>th</sup> would have been Trinity Gay’s 16<sup>th</sup> birthday; her father Tyson Gay shared a photo in her memory.</p>
