Yes boo, you read that correctly. The Christians of IG are angry because they believe that Instagram banned the phrase “I am a born again follower of Jesus Christ”.
A day after an ugly dress made headlines and went viral, now a new topic has the public’s attention. If you try to leave a comment saying “I am a born again follower of Jesus Christ” on Instagram, as of this second your comment will be blocked and you will receive a message similar to the one above letting you know that you are violating the guidelines of Instagram.
However, that’s really not the case. Due to overwhelming spam accounts, Instagram has banned the terms “gain followers” and “again followers”. Hence the reason the Christians of IG can’t type the full statement: “I am a born again follower of Jesus Christ”.
This isn’t the first time Instagram allegedly blocked a phrase that had everyone pissed. In fact, once they blocked the words “Garcinia Kola” which is believed to slow down the spread of Ebola.
In the meantime, the Christians can hashtag the phrase!
The Church can calm down now.
