Good news!? Gucci Mane is reportedly being released from jail in March! The 1017 records page posted a picture of the trap rap legend on Instagram saying that he will be get out this year!
Gucci Mane’s official twitter and Instagram have been deactivated and according to XXL Mag, it’s for a reason. Gucci wants some anticipation to build up leading to his release and wants to “resurface everything under the new Gucci brand.” This information comes from one of Gucci’s closest confidants, Sean Paine.
Gucci Mane is often seen as being responsible for the rise of many rappers today especially in the trap subgenre and a lot of fans look up to him! He has been in prison since 2013 but has released tons of music from behind bars.
Though the Federal Bureau of Prisons website still has his release date as March of 2017, it is very possible that Guwop could be getting out early! We hope for the best.
