We are praying that our North Carolina #Roommates are safe and dry as #HurricanFlorence heightens. We know some of you guys were gearing up to catch a vibe at J. Cole’s Dreamville festival — however, in light of the weather advisory, the festival has been canceled — according to J. Cole.
“Mannn. Due to this Hurricane heading to NC, we have to cancel Dreamville Festival,” he tweeted. “We’re working to get another date, but right now safety is most important. I appreciate everybody that was headed to rock with us.”
He continues to say that more than 30,000 fans were expected to attend and confirms that all tickets will be refunded. CNN reports that “the governors of Virginia, North and South Carolina have issued mandatory evacuation orders affecting hundreds of thousands of residents in coastal areas.”
