<p class="tiktok-qpyus6-H1ShareSubTitle ekmpd5l6" style="text-align: left;" data-e2e="user-subtitle">A TikTok user by the handle <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@jordanschaffer2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">@jordanschaffer2</a> took to the platform on Tuesday to share a video message highlighting Derulo&#8217;s generosity. In the video, the waiter explained that Derulo tipped him $5,000 at Charleston Restaurant in Ohama, Nebraska.</p>
<p class="tiktok-qpyus6-H1ShareSubTitle ekmpd5l6" style="text-align: left;" data-e2e="user-subtitle">The TikTok also includes a clip of the man&#8217;s stunned reaction. He can be heard telling Derulo, and his guests, that his heart was beating extremely fast. In the next clip, Derulo responded by saying his experience at the restaurant was &#8220;really awesome.&#8221;</p>
<p data-e2e="user-subtitle">Later in the TikTok video, the man spoke directly to the singer. He explained that Derulo&#8217;s $5,000 tip will actually cover one semester of his college tuition. Additionally, the waiter added that he &#8220;can&#8217;t say thank you enough.&#8221;</p>
<p data-e2e="user-subtitle">As the video came to a close, the man held the receipt up to his camera so viewers could see the proof for themselves.</p>
