<p>TSR Positive Images: One of your favorite celebrity couples is giving back, Roomies! Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are donating a year&#8217;s worth of food to an East Tennessee elementary school, <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/jlo-a-rod-donate-years-worth-of-food-to-pantry-of-east-tennessee-elementary-school">Fox news</a> reports.</p>
<p>The power couple decided to give back to Jacksboro Elementary School after a viral Facebook post from a teacher at the school caught the attention. Brooke Goins took to Facebook to write about how she and a group of teachers got together and paid for food for one hungry student.</p>
<p>&#8220;Today I cried at work. Not because I hate my job, or that it is just too hard,&#8221; Brooke writes. &#8220;Today I cried for a child, a child who so innocently talked about food and the lack of it.&#8221;</p>
<p>After being approached by a student who expressed he had been going hungry during lunch, and some times during dinner at home, Brooke and her fellow teachers decided to start a food pantry for their students. Thats when JLo and ARod stepped in!</p>
<p>JLo posted a video the donation being made on Wednesday, and the kids were more than moved by the donation!</p>
<p>&#8220;We were so touched. We were smoked&#8230;Oh my God. We were crying,&#8221; JLo said in the video. &#8220;You know my mom was a teacher, and it was such a moving story to us that we wanted to help.&#8221;</p>
<p>JLo and Arod donated the food from Tiller &; Hatch, a company they have ownership in.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is why being a business owner, and having actual ownership in companies is so important to me and Alex, especially as Latinos.&#8221; JLo writes. &#8220;It&#8217;s about showing our community, this is what life can be. You can take charge and take ownership.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;We are happy to be in business with partners who also believe no child should ever go to sleep hungry. Everyone should have access to delicious, nutritious food.&#8221;</p>
