Early last year, we learned that superstar #JanetJackson was splitting from her husband #WissamAlMana. There were rumors that one of the reasons for the spilt was that Janet had taunted her estranged husband with the thought of her getting back with him, but it turned out not to be true.
However, Janet and Jermaine only added fuel to the fire in December after they were spotted having dinner together in Atlanta. The two were allegedly “cuddled” up and holding hands. According to Jermaine, there’s no tea here and kinda-sorta denied that there was some sort of rekindled romance between them.
“I never knew us not to be friends. These stories are just all over the place,” Dupri tells @EntertainmentTonight. “I never knew us not to be friends. People keep making up these stories.” The producer did tell ET that he “spoke to Janet one time before she got on tour” and that he doesn’t know much “about how she’s dealing with being a mom.”
For now, Jermaine is focused on his work and has a big year ahead of him! In addition to accepting the Breaking Barriers Award at the Global Spin Awards next month, he is nominated for the Songwriters Hall of Fame and his record label So So Def turns 25! Congratulations!
