<p>After discussing her healing journey, <strong>Jessica White</strong> is further detailing her failed relationship with <strong>Nick Cannon</strong>, which ended in 2020.</p>
<p>Specifically, the model and <em>Love &; Hip Hop: Atlanta </em>star alleges that their relationship was &#8220;emotionally abusive.&#8221; Additionally, she says she&#8217;s determined to &#8220;not try to make a pretty picture of it.&#8221;</p>

<p>Jessica delivered her commentary on the matter during a sit-down with <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/06/20/jessica-white-recalls-emotionally-abusive-relationship/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Page Six</a>, which was published on Tuesday.</p>
<p>During the brief interview, she straight-up declared, <strong><em>&#8220;I went through an emotionally abusive relationship.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>After saying that &#8220;everybody goes through it,&#8221; Jessica White proclaimed she&#8217;s &#8220;the first person in Hollywood to talk about it&#8221; and &#8220;not try to make a pretty picture.&#8221;</p>

<p>The publication also highlighted that while her <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1331168/nick-cannon-reunites-with-ex-jessica-white-for-nsfw-mixtape-cover" target="_blank" rel="noopener">relationship with Nick Cannon</a> is reported as spanning from 2015-2020, Jessica White says she was actually by his side for eight years.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Model Previously Said She &; Nick Cannon Were &#8220;Beautifully Broken&#8221; &; &#8220;Hurt Each Other&#8221;</h3>
<p>As The Shade Room reported, Jessica recently touched on her relationship with Nick while discussing her personal healing journey earlier this month.</p>
<p>White&#8217;s message came in the form of a lengthy caption beneath a now-deleted Instagram post.</p>
<p>After declaring that she gave Nick &#8220;eight ride-or-die years,&#8221; she said she didn&#8217;t believe he reciprocated her feelings.</p>
<p>However, despite the hardships, Jessica said she&#8217;s &#8220;emotionally healthy&#8221; and aware of how &#8220;awesome&#8221; she is.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I wanted the world to know I didn’t always feel good like [Nick Cannon] was proud to have me as a partner and I’m so happy I can say that now and still know how awesome I am. I’m proud I can say the truth and how I’m healthy emotionally and wouldn&#8217;t change my insane insecurities that I prayed off my life.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>White was sure to also acknowledge how &#8220;God has taken [her] hurt.” She also proclaimed, <strong><em>&#8220;There&#8217;s big, big love coming to me that will fill up my memories with joy.&#8221;</em></strong> PERIOD!</p>
<p>After declaring that she was &#8220;mov[ing] on from public shame&#8221; and finding &#8220;glory [in her] broken past,&#8221; Jessica White said that she and Nick Cannon &#8220;hurt each other.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;The truth is [Nick Cannon] and I were both beautifully broken when we were children and didn’t know how to love each other. Instead we hurt each other.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
