Soul singer #JillScott has filed for divorce from her husband #MikeDobson after 15 months of marriage. Scott cited “irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper, which in Tennessee can mean a number of things including but not limited to verbal or physical abuse, infidelity, sexual impropriety or cruel treatment.
In a statement to Bossip, Dobson said he was “blindsided” by the news and denies that he’s harmed his estranged wife in any way. He also decided to spill a little tea on what he says brought their marriage crumbling to the ground and calls her evil!!
Shes an evil woman, the husband told Bossip. Im telling you. Its like what Jill Scott wants, Jill Scott gets. People are in her ear, and if someone comes in to challenge the dumb s**t, they made me be the bad guy and that got me outta there.
He added: Shes got issues. Theres no men in that family, theres only women. And when a man comes in, its like a challenge.
Shes made other men look bad, but Im not the one. I said (to her) youve met your match,’ Dobson said. She likes to have men that she can control. Youre not gonna control me. Whats right is right, and whats wrong is wrong.
