<p data-pm-slice="0 0 []">It&#8217;s been two days since the incident with <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/will-smith-issues-a-formal-apology-to-chris-rock-the-academy-others/">Will Smith</a> and Chris Rock at the Oscars, and folks haven&#8217;t stopped talking about it yet. Today comedian Jim Carrey shared his two cents about the incident and had a lot to say that raised eyebrows. The comedian spoke with Gayle King in a CBS Mornings interview and said he was &#8220;sickened by the standing ovation&#8221; Will received.</p>
<p>&#8220;Hollywood is just spineless en masse, and it really felt like this is a really clear indication that we aren&#8217;t the cool club anymore,&#8221; Jim said about the audience&#8217;s warm reception for Will. Jim wasn&#8217;t finished with his opinion there. He and Gayle also talked about Chris not pressing charges against Will. Jim was vocal that he would&#8217;ve taken another route if it were him in the situation. &#8220;I&#8217;d have announced this morning that I was suing Will for $200 million because that video is going to be there forever. It&#8217;s going to be ubiquitous,&#8221; Jim stated.</p>

<p>&#8220;That insult is gonna last a very long time,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;If you want to yell from the audience and show disapproval or say something on Twitter [, that&#8217;s OK, but] you do not have the right to walk up on stage and smack somebody in the face &#8217;cause they said words.&#8221; Although everyone has shared their opinion about Will, the Roommates seemed upset that Gayle interviewed Jim.</p>
<p>Rapper Mysonneny General stepped into The Shade Room and commented, &#8220;Gayle, you gotta be kidding me!!! Foreal?? You just can&#8217;t stay on Code for s**t!! You went and Got the White Man&#8217;s opinion?? You can&#8217;t make this s**t up!!&#8221;</p>
