<p>Marvel Studios have reportedly dropped <strong>Jonathan Majors</strong> following his split verdict conviction on Monday, December 18. As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/breaking-jonathan-majors-found-guilty-of-two-charges-in-domestic-assault-trial/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, the actor was found guilty of assault in the third degree and harassment of his ex-girlfriend, <strong>Grace Jabbari</strong>.</p>
<p>However, Majors was also found not guilty on another count of assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://variety.com/2023/film/news/jonathan-majors-marvel-studios-dropped-kang-1235587971/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Variety</a>, a &#8220;source close to the studio&#8221; confirmed the company&#8217;s decision on Monday. The outlet adds that Majors was expected to play Kang in the film &#8216;Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.&#8217; Kang is a supervillain character at the center of Marvel&#8217;s Cinematic Universe.</p>
<p>Shooting for the film was expected to begin in 2024, with a release date between 2025 and 2026.</p>
<p>According to the outlet, Marvel executives are now faced with the decision to recast the role of Kang. Or cancel the film &#8220;outright&#8221; and &#8220;reconfigure the&#8230; Multiverse Saga.&#8221;</p>

A few days after his arrest, the actor was dropped from two U.S. Army advertisements.</p>

<p>Additionally, Majors was dropped by his public relations firm, Lede Company, that same month. Then, in April, the actor&#8217;s talent manager, Entertainment 360, parted ways with Majors.</p>
<p>Around this time, it was also reported that the actor and fashion house, Valentino, mutually decided he would not attend the 2023 Met Gala.</p>

<p>Majors&#8217; attorney, Priya Choudry, also issued a statement following the court&#8217;s split verdict, voicing her team&#8217;s disappointment.</p>

<p>At this time, Majors&#8217; sentencing has been scheduled for February 6, 2024.
