<p><strong>Jonathan Majors</strong>&#8216; ex-girlfriend and alleged domestic violence victim, <strong>Grace Jabbari</strong>, has been arrested and released by the NYPD. As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/jonathan-majors-nypd-complaint-grace-jabbari-trial/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, Jabbari accused the actor of assaulting her in March.</p>
<p>However, three months later, Majors filed a &#8220;cross complaint,&#8221; accusing Jabbari of assaulting him on previous occasions. Additionally, the cross-complaint added that those alleged incidents were not reported to authorities.</p>

<p>According to the <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/10/25/metro/jonathan-majors-ex-grace-jabbari-charged-with-assault/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York Post</a>, Grace Jabbari turned herself in to authorities at the 10th Precinct in Manhattan, New York, on the evening of Wednesday, October 25.</p>
<p>Cops reportedly informed the outlet that Jabbari was charged with &#8220;assault and criminal mischief.&#8221; However, the woman was then released by authorities after reportedly receiving a &#8220;desk appearance ticket.&#8221;</p>
<p>According to New York Criminal Lawyer, a desk appearance ticket &#8220;requires a person to appear in criminal court on a specific date and time.&#8221; That date and time is reportedly known as a &#8220;return date.&#8221;</p>
<p>Additionally, when a receiver of a desk appearance ticket appears in court, they will then be &#8220;expected to respond to accusations that they have committed a crime.&#8221;</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Will Grace Jabbari Be Prosecuted?</h3>
<p>Despite Jabbari being issued a desk appearance ticket, the woman&#8217;s lawyer, Ross Kramer, alleged that she &#8220;won’t be prosecuted.&#8221; According to Kramer, prosecutors have concluded that Jabbari &#8220;was not the aggressor&#8221; in incidents involving Jonathan Majors.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;She was the victim in this case and, you know, they’re going to do the right thing,&#8221; Kramer reportedly explained on Wednesday, per the <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/10/25/metro/jonathan-majors-ex-grace-jabbari-charged-with-assault/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York Post</a>. &#8220;It just happened that we had to come in here. And have her spend and, you know, unfortunately, bad night at the police precinct.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>According to the outlet, legal papers reportedly filed by district attorneys &#8220;this month&#8221; confirm that Jabbari will not be prosecuted.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">What Happens Now?</h3>
<p>As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/jonathan-majorsed-for-domestic-assault-strangulation-and-lawyer-claims-woman-recanted-after-his/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, Majors was arrested after allegedly assaulting Grace Jabbari in March. The actor was charged with &#8220;assault, strangulation, and harassment.&#8221;</p>
<p>Majors&#8217; lawyers, however, have called the allegations and subsequent prosecution of the actor a racially biased &#8220;witch hunt.&#8221;</p>
<p>Since then, the 34-year-old has been accompanied by 42-year-old fellow actor Meagan Good as he attended previous court dates, per <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/jonathan-majors-meagan-good-court-hearing-domestic-video/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a>. Though the pair have not publicly confirmed their speculated romance, they have been photographed together numerous times.</p>

<p>According to the New York Post, Majors&#8217; trial for the domestic violence charges is scheduled to commence on November 29.</p>
