<h3 style="text-align: center;">Jonathan Majors Heading To Trial, Pictured With Meagan Good At Court Hearing Tuesday</h3>
<p>The 33-year-old &#8216;Creed III&#8217; actor appeared with Good as they exited Manhattan Criminal Court Tuesday morning <a href="https://twitter.com/AP/status/1671182368013516802" target="_blank" rel="noopener">in a video obtained</a> by the <em>Associated Press</em>. The couple could be seen holding hands while flanked by Majors&#8217; attorneys.</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_1-0-2" class="comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html">Judge Rachel S. Pauley set a trial date of Aug. 3 during Tuesday&#8217;s hearing. She also ordered Majors to continue to abide by the court&#8217;s restraining order for the alleged victim in the case.</p>

<p>The arrest stems from accusations from his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, 30. Jabbari reportedly told police he hit and choked her. Majors is facing up to <a href="https://apnews.com/article/jonathan-majors-assault-charge-court-6b2ba68fe063996ffd263e535c7cd8d9" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a year in prison</a> if convicted, according to the <em>Associated Press</em>.</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_1-0-6" class="comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html">Meanwhile, in a statement released Tuesday, Majors&#8217; attorney Priya Chaudhry said that the actor&#8217;s legal team has provided &#8220;compelling evidence&#8221; of Majors&#8217; innocence.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Within a few weeks of these false allegations, we provided the District Attorney with evidence of Mr. Majors&#8217; innocence. <p>Chaudhry continued: &#8220;Following this, we strongly requested the District Attorney dismiss all charges against Mr. Majors immediately&#8230; While we are hopeful that the District Attorney is reviewing these materials in good faith and will do the right thing soon, to accelerate our case, we&#8217;ve requested a trial date ASAP.&#8221;</p>
<p>Among that evidence “(includes) video proof showing nothing happened,” according to Chaudhry.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Fans, Friends Respond To Meagan Good&#8217;s Relationship With Jonathan Majors</h3>
<p>Before Tuesday&#8217;s appearance, the pair were most recently <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/listicle/meagan-good-jonathan-majors-traveling-together-photos/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">seen traveling together</a> from NYC to Los Angeles on May 20.</p>

Good’s &#8220;Cousin Skeeter&#8221; co-star<strong> Robert Ri’chard</strong> similarly defended her relationship with Majors.</p>
<p>Last week, Ri’chard <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/06/15/cousin-skeeter-robert-richard-defend-meagan-good-jonathan-majors/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told <em>TMZ</em></a> that &#8220;she&#8217;s a godly woman, so we have nothing to worry about.&#8221;</p>
