JR Smith Allegedly Ditches Girlfriend Of 2 Years To Marry Someone Else!!!

NBA player JR Smith has a reputation of being a ladies man but word on the street over the weekend he may have done the ultimate dog deed !

According to Bossip, JR Smith recently eloped this past weekend. Now congratulations are in order for the newly wed but it’s the person he married that makes this a bit messy and trifling.

Smith had been reportedly dating his off and on girlfriend, Ashely Weatherspoon, for two years. She is known for going to bat for her man and even got into a heated argument with singer, K Michelle, over her boo. Too bad for her it all ain’t mean isht because Smith ended up putting a ring on someone ELSE’S finger!!!! Chileee I know she’s upset… They were just spotted on vacation with eachother!!

Anyways the lucky lady to get wifed by JR is the mother of his daughter, Shirley. 

According to Jocks and Stiletto Jill:

One of the NBA’s most eligible bachelors has moved on from the single life. Per a source, JR Smith eloped earlier this week.

JR and his daughter Demi’s mother Shirley decided to make a move and “just get married.”

Here’s the thing though, JR had a girlfriend that he has been with for a few years named Ashley Weatherspoon.
JR and Shirley reportedly decided to spontaneously make it official at the courthouse.

New Jersey has a 72-hour wait after filing a certificate for marriage.

JR’s former Knicks team president Phil Jackson mentioned that JR was having some relationship problems last season. 

At one point, JR and Ashley broke up but reunited during his time with the Cavs this season. Congratulations JR and Shirley.
