Bobby Shmurda can’t seem to catch a break in court these days, and he and his lawyer, Spiro, are starting to think it’s because his bail is set extremely high.
On Tuesday a judge denied Bobby’s request to lower his bail, which according to TMZ, comes just a month after his family tried to bail him out using their property as collateral.
Spiro explained to the judge that Bobby’s bail is to high and that there a numerous reports that the rapper has an estimated to net worth of $20 million, when in reality he really only has $427k to his name. He continued on by saying that the bail should be closer to the $50-100k range.
This is sad situation for Shmurda because he’s been incarcerated since December 2014 for conspiracy to commit murder.
But luckily, Shmurda has a good lawyer on his hands who isn’t going to back down easily because he said they won’t stop trying to get the $2 million lowered even if he has to request it 55 times!
