Last week, we reported on new developments in producer Noel Fisher aka Detail’s lawsuit against #Drake and his bodyguard Nessell Beezer, who is also known as Chubbs.
Fisher alleged that back in 2014, Drizzy invited him over to his home in Calabasas to discuss working on music. Upon his arrival, Fisher says he was met by Chubbs who he claims punched him and broke his jaw. Drake allegedly watched everything go down just a few feet away and did nothing, according to Fisher. Chubbs claims that he reacted in self-defense.
In the lawsuit, Fisher had claimed that Drake was upset with him after learning he was nominated for three Grammys for the following year. Apparently, Drake wanted Fisher to be his exclusive producer and didn’t like that he refused. This is why Fisher says he was led to Drake’s home under false pretenses.
Unfortunately for Fisher, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elaine Lu tossed the lawsuit on Friday after he didn’t show up to court for a “final status conference.”
