<p>It is with great sadness that we report the passing of <strong>Eric Mumford</strong>, husband of <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/suspect-in-takeoffs-passing-patrick-clark-reportedly-released-from-jail-after-posting-1-million-bond/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Judge Lynn Toler</strong></a>, best known as the host of the popular television show<em> Divorce Court</em>. The cause of Mr. Mumford&#8217;s death has not yet been released.</p>

<p>Judge Toler took to Instagram on January 4th to share the sad news of her husband&#8217;s death, writing:</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Judge Lynn Toler &; Eric Mumford Were Married For Over 33 Years</h3>
<p>Eric &#8220;Big E&#8221; Mumford was Toler&#8217;s romantic partner and spouse for over 33 years. Eric was born on January 1, 1951, in Ohio. He met his wife-to-be in 1986 and already had four children from his first marriage, according to details Toler shared in an Op-Ed for <em><a href="https://www.huffpost.com/entry/how-divorce-court-saved-my-marriage_b_1855047" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Huffington Post</a></em> regarding their relationship.</p>
<p>Despite facing challenges in their marriage, Judge Toler and Mr. Mumford remained devoted to each other. The pair relied on their strong bond and the lessons learned from Judge Toler&#8217;s work on <em>Divorce Cour</em>t to weather storms. The television judge also shared that their love and commitment to one another allowed them to enjoy a happy, fulfilling marriage for more than three decades.</p>

<p>The grieving Judge seems to be staying positive following the loss of her husband of 33 years. Ahead of announcing his death, Toler shared a positive message with followers going into the new year, suggesting that love survives loss.</p>
