<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We know Judge Mathis doesn’t play in the courtroom and apparently, he doesn’t play outside of it either. One of our fave TV judges is being accused of spitting in a valet attendant’s face in Detroit and now authorities are investigating.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2019/08/28/judge-mathis-valet-spit-face-police-report-lawyer/">TMZ</a>, Judge Mathis pulled up to Flood’s Bar and Grille in his Rolls Royce last week. When he went to pick up his whip to leave, things apparently got a little crazy.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The valet attendant reportedly had Mathis’ keys in his pocket while he went out to retrieve another car, making the judge wait about 10 to 15 minutes. When the valet finally returned, Judge Mathis allegedly cussed the guy out, giving him a lecture in front of coworkers and customers.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mathis allegedly became angrier when the valet explained himself, saying he had to travel a long way to get another car and apologized for accidentally taking his keys.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The whole debacle ended when Mathis allegedly spit on the valet and then booked it out of there. Now the valet filed a police report alleging criminal assault against Mathis.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The cops are involved and investigating the matter. There were also reportedly multiple witnesses to the spat.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The valet has also allegedly lawyered up in this case, which would mean that ironically, Judge Mathis will get to see the other side of the courtroom.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Judge Mathis did not comment publicly on the matter. </span></p>
