#Roommates, back in August we told you that Wiz Khalifa’s mother was suing Amber Rose. Katie Wimbush-Polk filed a defamation suit against her former daughter-in-law claiming she allegedly made a “profanity-laced phone call to a third party,” accusing her of being a negligent parent. Amber allegedly said she was an unfit mother and blamed her for Wiz’s sibling’s death. (Dorien Thomaz passed away in February of complications from lymphoma.) She also allegedly claimed that Katie was not fit to visit or care for her 4-year-old son Sebastian.
In response, Wiz’s mom hit her with a $50,000 lawsuit, and Amber fired right back by filing to get a restraining order against her.
Well, the two can put all this mess behind them now because a judge recently tossed out the case. According to TMZ, the Pennsylvania court agreed that Amber’s alleged statements were insulting, but ruled that “mere insults, indignities, threats, annoyances, petty oppressions, and other trivialities” aren’t enough to prove emotional distress.
Welp. We hope they can work things out for Bash’s sake.
