<p>#Roommates, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/youtube-announces-10-part-documentary-about-justin-bieber-dropping-in-january/">Justin Bieber</a> is already kicking off 2020 with a bang. First, he announced an upcoming 10-part documentary about his life coming to YouTube this month, then he gave fans what they wanted by dropping his highly-anticipated new single, “Yummy.” Now, Justin’s taking a more serious approach, as he is finally addressing rumors about his health—confirming that he has been silently battling Lyme disease.</p>
<p>@TMZ_TV reports that Justin <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2020/01/08/justin-bieber-battling-lyme-disease/">finally responded</a> to widespread rumors from fans regarding his appearance, with many speculating that he was using meth and other drugs and that was the reason why he looks noticeably thinner these days. Taking to Instagram, Justin cleared all speculation by explaining that he has been battling some very serious health issues—most importantly Lyme disease.</p>
<p>Justin posted the following message:</p>
<p><em>“While a lot of people kept saying justin Bieber looks like s**t, on meth etc. they failed to realize I&#8217;ve been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, not only that but had a serious case of chronic mono which affected my, skin, brain function, energy, and overall health. These things will be explained further in a docu series I&#8217;m putting on YouTube shortly.. you can learn all that I&#8217;ve been battling and OVERCOMING!! It&#8217;s been a rough couple years but getting the right treatment that will help treat this so far incurable disease and I will be back and better than ever NO CAP”</em></p>
<p>According to inside reports of those who have seen early parts of the documentary, Justin says during most of 2019 his Lyme disease went undiagnosed. Doctors also reportedly struggled to find out what was wrong with him, but finally discovered what it was at the end of last year.</p>
<p>Lyme disease is contracted from tick bites and symptoms include rashes, headaches, fever and fatigue.</p>
