Justin Bieber broke a lot of hearts today when news broke that he and Hailey Baldwin tied the knot, leaving everyone wondering why they initially lied about it in the first place. Last month photogs caught Justin and Hailey entering a courthouse and rumors began circulating that they got a marriage license and did the whole thing, but Hailey denied it, tweeting, “I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I’m not married yet!”
According to TMZ, not only did Hailey lie about it, but she and Justin got married the same day they got their marriage certificate, but hey I ain’t mad sis keep your business personal. Justin and Hailey were accompanied by Justin’s friend, Josh Mehl.
What’s crazy about this is that Justin has so much money and married Hailey without a prenup, which is rare for someone of his status. Apparently the same day they were spotted at the courthouse, Justin and Hailey both contacted “their lawyers for a prenup, but it wasn’t enough time to get all the paperwork drafted and signed that fast.”
Justin and Hailey ended up getting married and it looks like they are content with it because there hasn’t been any movement to have one drafted and signed. It’s only a matter of time before the two draft a postnup, signed after marriage, and get everything sorted out.
Justin is reportedly worth $250 million and Hailey has a couple million to her name. The two plan on having an actual lavish wedding ceremony with their friends and family.
