Whew! Whether or not things may appear as they seem, a very married Justin Timberlake was spotted holding hands with actress Alisha Wainwright, and he wasn’t wearing his wedding ring.
The two were spotted in New Orleans, where they are shooting a film they’re co-starring in, getting cozy with one another. Photos and video of the whole thang are circulating online, but a source close to the situation told People that it “was completely innocent.”
If you think Alisha looks familiar, you may recognize her from the Netflix original series, “Raising Dion.”
In the video, you can see Justin seated and enjoying drinks with a group of friends while Alisha can be seen resting her hand on his knee. There are also photos of Justin and Alisha holding hands under the table.
“It’s a balcony with a group of people and it was definitely nothing happening,” the source with direct knowledge of the situation told People. “He’s down there shooting [his film] Palmer, they’re starring in the movie together and they’re cool and everybody was just hanging out.”
A rep for Alisha also maintains that there’s nothing going on between her and Justin. “There is no validity to this speculation. They are currently working on a project together. Members of the cast and crew were all together.”
The source added, “The video may look a way, but literally it was nothing. It was some friends, members of the team, crew and people like that. They all know each other and were hanging. Like come on, they’re on an open balcony in New Orleans and he’s famous. It was nothing.”
Palmer stars Justin as a one-time college football star who ends up serving time in jail and later returns to his hometown to try and pick up the pieces.
He has been married to actress Jessica Biel since 2012 and the couple have one child, a 4-year-old son named Silas. Last we checked, Justin and Jessica were goodT and even did a little dress up for Halloween together.
