In November 2016, #KanyeWest’s Very Good Touring company filed a $10 million lawsuit against #LloydsOfLondon insurance company. They had refused to pay for the financial loss that Kanye incurred after having to cancel a few of his #SaintPabloTour dates due to a mental breakdown in which he was admitted to a hospital.
Lloyd’s didn’t want to immediately pay up, because they felt that marijuana played a part in Kanye’s condition. Apparently, drug use was an exclusion in the policy between both parties, but Kanye’s team denied this and fortunately, the judge has sided with them!
@TMZ_Tv reports that Lloyd’s didn’t want to risk a punitive damages payout if they went to court, so they settled.
Congrats, Kanye!
