<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">#KanyeWest has been pretty vocal on his political stances lately but one thing he was able to do was separate his political views and his fashion design&#8230;until now.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">So y’all remember #TurningPointUSA’s #YoungBlackLeadershipSummit that’s going on this weekend in Washington D.C.? It’s where #StaceyDash and #BenCarson are speaking and it is catered to young black conservatives.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Well, apparently Kanye’s newest clothing design debuted there. The shirts Kanye created say #Blexit on them and supposedly advocate for a black exit, or “Blexit,” from the #Democratic Party, according to Turning Point USA’s communications director, conservative commentator and Kanye’s homegirl, #CandaceOwens.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero Kanye West,” Owens told @<a href="https://pagesix.com/2018/10/27/kanye-west-designed-t-shirts-urging-black-people-to-bail-on-democrats/">PageSix</a>. Blexit is a play on the term #Brexit, which became popular when Great Britain moved to withdraw from the European Union.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Owens added that Ye &#8220;has taken one of the boldest steps in America to open a conversation we have needed to have.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Although Kanye did not appear at the conference, Owens reportedly said he was there &#8220;in spirit.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If y’all need a refresher on Kanye’s recent political trail, he started making a statement when he began sporting one of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” hats.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He recently appeared at the White House for a meeting with Trump, where he repeatedly praised him and showed him some affection. Ye also told trump that his MAGA hat made him feel like his favorite superhero, Superman.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But despite his continued support for Trump, Kanye has actually been supportive of Chicago mayoral candidate and Democrat Amara Enyia. He even donated $73,000 to her campaign and briefly appeared next to her at one of her events.</span></p>
