<p>Kanye West has responded to Nicki Minaj&#8217;s alleged refusal to clear her &#8216;New Body&#8217; verse on his and Ty Dolla $ign&#8217;s upcoming album, &#8216;Vultures.&#8217; As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/listicle/ye-kanye-west-ty-dolla-sign-star-studded-listening-party-vultures-viral-videos/#4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, the album is intended to be released on Friday, December 15.</p>

<p>On Wednesday, December 13, Kanye West returned to <a href="https://twitter.com/kanyewest" target="_blank" rel="noopener">X</a>, formerly known as Twitter. Then, the following evening, the rapper took to the platform to share a tweet with a screenshot of what appears to be a text message he sent to Minaj.</p>

<p>Additionally, West captioned his tweet by tagging Minaj&#8217;s X account.</p>

During the event, he played what appears to be the final version of &#8216;New Body&#8217; with Minaj&#8217;s verse.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/12/15/entertainment/nicki-minaj-bars-kanye-west-from-releasing-new-body-collab/#" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Page Six</a>, Minaj recorded her verse on the song in 2018. Additionally, the outlet reports that Minaj&#8217;s &#8216;New Body&#8217; verse was inspired by West&#8217;s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Kardashian also helped coordinate Minaj&#8217;s presence on the song in a clip captured while recording her former reality show, &#8216;Keeping Up With The Kardashians.&#8217;</p>

However, she and West drifted apart in &#8220;seeing eye to eye&#8221; on its creation.</p>
<p>West never officially released the track, although snippets of Minaj&#8217;s verse went viral online.</p>
