<p>Scammers are always trying to come up on a quick buck at others&#8217; expense, and it looks like various people have been swindled out of their hard-earned money by imposters posing as members of <strong>Kash Doll</strong>&#8216;s team.</p>
<p>Specifically, con artists have scammed makeup artists and hair stylists into sending over money under the premise of reimbursement and getting to work with the &#8220;For Everybody&#8221; rapper.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">One Makeup Artist Speaks Up: &#8220;Once I Sent The Money, I Never Heard From Them&#8221;</h3>
<p>One professional going by <strong>Poundd Cakee</strong> says he&#8217;s among the people who were scammed. He recently shared his side of the story with <strong>Justin Carter </strong>for <strong><em>TSR Investigates</em></strong>.</p>
<p>According to the makeup artist, someone posing as <strong>Jazmin Re&#8217;Nae</strong> — Kash Doll&#8217;s friend — reached out to him. Under the premise of Poundd Cakee flying to L.A. for work, the scammers got him to pay hundreds of dollars.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;It was just like, &#8216;Can you send $400, and we&#8217;ll reimburse you? It&#8217;s for your flight.&#8217; Once I sent the money, I never heard from them again.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Kash Doll &; Jazmin Re&#8217;Nae Acknowledge The Situation: &#8220;We Have To Do Something About This&#8221;</h3>
<p>In the wake of the scams, Kash Doll spoke on how the crooks &#8220;keep doing it,&#8221; prompting people to &#8220;be really upset&#8221; with the rapper.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I started getting DMs and getting messages on Facebook. And I&#8217;m going viral on Facebook — people thinking I scammed them.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p><strong>Jazmin Re&#8217;nae</strong>, the person the scammer poses as, also declared, <strong><em>&#8220;We have to do something about this.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>In fact, Jazmin said the matter &#8220;tarnished&#8221; her reputation to the extent that she couldn&#8217;t hire a Florida-based private chef. He was wary of the opportunity being a scam, which she called &#8220;disheartening.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;This is tarnishing my abilities to book someone that I want to book.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Ultimately, Kash Doll apologized while noting that the matter &#8220;has nothing to do with [her]&#8221; and hoping for the scammer to &#8220;go to jail.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;From the bottom of my heart, anybody that got scammed, I&#8217;m sorry that that happened to you. But it has nothing to do with me. And the person that is scamming, I hope you go to jail.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Kash Doll also noted that she usually only messages people from her <a href="https://www.instagram.com/kashdoll/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">official social media pages</a>.</p>
<p>As far as what people can do to protect their coin, attorney <strong>Justin Miller</strong> says common sense is crucial.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;If Kash Doll&#8217;s people needed you to do something, which could happen, but if they need you to do something and they&#8217;re going to pay you for it, there should be no reason they&#8217;re asking you for money upfront.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
