When Tupac’s “All Eyez On Me” biopic hit theaters many were quick to critique the movie, hell even Jada Pinkett Smith threw her two cents in. No one was more surprised by Jada’s comments than Kat Graham, who played the actress in the film.
In a series of tweets, Jada wrote, “Forgive me…my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in ‘All Eyez On Me’ to stand as truth. I’ve never been to any of Pac’s shows by his request. We never had an argument backstage. The reimaging of my relationship to Pac has been deeply hurtful”
Kat says she not only reached out to Jada but spoke to a week before the premiere!
“When I first got the role, I reached out to [her] a year and a half ago. The point of reaching out to her, as well as the other producers on the film, was to ensure the integrity of the story and the character. I even spoke to her last week and she had nothing but support.”
“I have a lot of love for her. I hope people just see the movie and make the choice for themselves.”
