<p><strong>Kel Mitchell</strong> is updating fans on his condition and sharing more information about his recent hospitalization. As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/kel-mitchell-releases-a-statement-following-news-of-his-hospitalization/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, Mitchell was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday, November 7.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">The 45-Year-Old Shares What Prompted His Hospitalization</h3>
<p>Mitchell returned to Instagram over the weekend to share a video post with his fans. In the video, Mitchell explained that he was back at home and &#8220;good&#8221; but wanted to let fans know what happened the day of his hospitalization.</p>
<p>The 45-year-old explained that on November 7, he was out shopping when suddenly he felt &#8220;the whole room started spinning.&#8221; The actor assumed that he may have been dehydrated and then went to get water and food.</p>
<p>However, the father of four then became alarmed when &#8220;the whole right side&#8221; of his arm and leg went &#8220;numb.&#8221; Additionally, the actor noted that he wasn&#8217;t able to swallow.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;And that&#8217;s when I panicked. And so, I drove myself to the hospital — I wouldn&#8217;t advise anybody to do that, but I was panicking&#8230;,&#8221; Mitchell explained. &#8220;Went in the ER — I failed the arm and leg test, so that was raising fears of like something more serious because I could not move my right arm [and] my motor skills were not working.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Mitchell explained that hospital staff performed CTC scans and EKG tests on him. Although the actor remained hospitalized overnight, he ultimately received relieving news.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;What we feared wasn&#8217;t what it was,&#8221; Mitchell told fans. &#8220;It was actually a bulging disk that I had from a prior injury that was pressing up against a nerve [and] mimicking all those symptoms that I was going through.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Kel Mitchell Shares What&#8217;s To Come For Fans</h3>
<p>As Mitchell&#8217;s video message continued, he shared gratitude for the &#8220;prayers and comments&#8221; he received from fans. Additionally, he thanked his wife for being &#8220;amazing,&#8221; as well as his kids and &#8220;entire family&#8221; for their support.</p>
<p>Additionally, the 45-year-old explained that &#8220;a lot of Good Burger content&#8221; is on its way. As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/kel-mitchell-releases-a-statement-following-news-of-his-hospitalization/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, Mitchell is working with fellow actor Kenan Thompson on a sequel for the fan-favorite 1997 &#8216;Good Burger&#8217; film.</p>
