<p><strong>Kelly Ripa</strong> denied rumors that she almost died while having sex with her husband while at Jimmy Buffett&#8217;s house on Wednesday, stemming from a misunderstanding that landed her in the hospital after a romantic rendezvous.</p>
<p>The &#8220;Live With Kelly and Ryan&#8221; co-host fired back at the accusations, which emerged after she passed out while having sex with her husband, Mark Consuelos, at the &#8220;Margaritaville&#8221; singer&#8217;s home, according to the <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/09/15/kelly-ripa-denies-almost-dying-during-sex-with-mark-consuelos/"><strong>New York Post</strong></a>.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Ripa Says Misunderstanding After Hospitalization Led To Rumors She Nearly Died After Sex</h3>
<p>In her forthcoming book, the 51-year-old said she woke up in the hospital with two ovarian cysts after coming to following the impassioned interlude.</p>
<blockquote><p>“No, I did not almost die having sex at Jimmy Buffett’s house,” the 51-year-old host said.</p></blockquote>
<p>Reps for Ripa declined to comment to The Post.</p>

<p>In her book, &#8220;Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories,&#8221; which is set to hit bookstores on September 27, Ripa tells a story that takes place six months after the birth of her first child back in 1997, when she and her husband were enjoying a little early-morning sex.</p>
<p>She then reportedly lost consciousness due to the two large cysts growing on her ovaries, the outlet reports.</p>
<p>The former &#8220;All My Children&#8221; star writes that &#8220;sex can be so traumatic I think, and yet one of us (her husband) is completely undaunted.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>“Sex can be so traumatic I think, and yet one of us is completely undaunted,” Ripa writes. “There he is, happily munching on the saltines now and ordering a second apple juice. Mark could be at a movie, or a spa. Instead, I’m flat on my back wondering when the other two cysts will burst.”</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Talk Show Host Has No Clue How Story Evolved Into Near-Deadly Sex At Jimmy Buffett&#8217;s House</h3>
<p>While Ripa said that she did end up in the hospital following sex with her husband, she added Wednesday that she wasn&#8217;t sure how how the story ended up at Jimmy Buffett&#8217;s house, nor how the situation escalated to life and death.</p>

<p>Her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, said the story was a good one despite its lack of veracity as he healed from a knee injury.</p>

<p>While Ripa agreed it was “an incredible story and said she wished it were true, ” but “it’s just not,&#8221; she said.</p>
