<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Every week it seems like there is some announcement about a reboot or a sequel for a movie from our beloved childhood.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">While majority of the time, the resounding response is that classics should NOT be touched, I’m here for a “Good Burger” sequel because the two original stars are actually on board! When that happens, I feel the movie has a better shot of keeping the original spirit of the film.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On a recent episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Kenan told Andy that he and Kel have stayed in contact since they squashed their beef and that they are both down for a sequel to Good Burger!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“We’ve been talking about it for a long time. We’ve had meetings about it, so it’s in the higher powers’ hands cause we’ve both said that we’re down to do it,” Kenan said in response to a question from a fan.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kenan and Kel have already showed they still are a comedy duo with good chemistry. Earlier this year they squared off against each other on another Nickelodeon classic rebooted, “Double Dare.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kenan and Kel are Nickelodeon royalty and Kenan went on to continue sketch comedy in the adult world for “Saturday Night Live.” He has even made history for being the longest-running cast member on the show and has snagged his own sitcom.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Whatever beef the two had was squashed in 2015 when the pair reprised their “Good Burger” characters on the “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon”. The viral reunion was one that many cheered on.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kel expressed a similar sentiment about a sequel in an interview with Buzzfeed in March, saying “the conversations have started.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I don’t know about y’all, but this is one project I hope to see happen.</span></p>
