Kenya Moore Opens Up About Her Split From Marc Daly, “If The Communication Were Better And More Open And Honest, I Think We Could Solve Our Problems.”

Back in September Kenya Moore and her husband Marc Daly revealed the shocking news that they were separating after two years of marriage. Now Kenya is opening up about their split, what led to their decision to split up, and the different ways she has tried to work things out.

In an interview with People, Kenya revealed that she and Marc have not filed for divorce just yet and she would love to work things out, but only if she and her estranged husband could work through their issues.

She said, I didnt get married to quit. I love my husband. I dont doubt that he loves me. Let me be clear, I took my vows seriously. I believe in for better and for worse and I believe in trying it all before you walk away, especially when we do have a child and we are a family.

However, according to Kenya, shes not sure Marc is completely there when it comes to working on their relationship. I am hopeful and have always wanted to work on our relationship. But I just dont know if thats even a possibility at this point, honestly, she said.

Adding that they didnt do everything that they could have done to save their relationship.

Shortly after they announced their split, rumors started to circulate that infidelity played a role in their split. However, Kenya denies the rumors and says that it’s far from the truth. I can tell you Ive heard a lot of rumors about secret families. I can tell you thats completely made up; theres zero truth to that. In terms of infidelity, Ive had no proof of that. Thats not our issue.

Kenya revealed the real issue behind their split was the distance started to put a strain on their relationship, and the communication started to deteriorate. The couple managed their households in both New York City, and with Marcs businesses being located in New York, that didnt make things easy.

The distance had really been taking a toll on us. Initially, when we had the baby, it was great. He was there for every single doctors appointment, every ultrasound, every scare, we were 90 percent together. He was a very supportive husband during that time.

However, things started to become more difficult after their daughters birth.

Kenya explained, Marc opened up two new businesses and is opening up another. It was frustrating for me that he kept opening businesses in New York, but listen I want him to be successful and thats how he feeds his family. So, I couldnt be selfish. But if youre living in two different places, you have to be together during the times you are in the same place; either youre both in NY and youre both in Atlanta. And when wed be in the same place, we werent always in the same place.

She added, If the communication were better and more open and honest, I think we could solve our problems.

As a method to help fix their relationship, Kenya says she pushed Marc to go to counseling, but he reportedly hasnt agreed to do so.
