Keyshia Cole Slams OT Genasis’ “Never Knew”—“I Would Like My Classics To Be Left Alone”

#Roommates, the back and forth between OT Genasis and Keyshia Cole is getting messier by the minute. As you may recall, the two are engaged in a bit of a battle over OT’s cover of Keyshia Cole’s song “Love,” “Never Knew,” which is an ode to his Crip affiliation.

Earlier this week OT Genasis took to social media to vent his frustrations after his song “Never Knew” was removed from YouTube. Although he never personally blamed her for the song being removed, many fans suspected that Keyshia Cole was behind it.

If you’ve been keeping up, you know that she has made it very clear the she is not a fan of OT’s cover of her song—and even threatened to remove it from iTunes. Well, she took things one step further when, during a recent television appearance, she decided to address OT’s song in front of a live studio audience.

Discussing how personal “Love” is to her, Keyshia went on to list other celebrities who have covered the song that she liked, including Trey Songz and Bruno Mars. She said that she didn’t mind them singing the song because “they keep my lyrics the same.”

OT got wind of the video as it circulated on social media and posted a message about it that read:

“Damn Keyshia it’s like dat?”

As of right now, there is still no word on who removed his song from YouTube or if he will find a way to upload it back on the platform.
