Roommates, although the infamous incident took place almost 20 years ago, the drama surrounding the chicken-throwing altercation between former 3LW members Kiely Williams and Naturi Naughton continues to live on. In a clip from an upcoming episode of the girl group reality show “BET Presents: The Encore,” Kiely Williams once again brought the incident up and said she threw the chicken at Naturi Naughton because she verbally disrespected her mother.

In the clip, Kiely is sitting with a bucket of chicken in her hand as she attempts to explain why it happened. “I didn’t throw chicken at anybody. The chicken was in my hand but if you call my mother a b**ch, I’m throwing whatever,” she said.

Kiely wasn’t done and took to Twitter to throw even more shade Naturi’s way, writing:

“Throwing hands, and whatever is in them over my mother. She is a saint. If my phone was in my hand and not my dinner she would’ve gotten that. And none of you would’ve done any different.

I saw a clip of an interview a while ago with an ex-group member talking about ‘profanities were exchanged’ and I think the question is: what profanities were ‘exchanged’ before I popped off? Was it ‘b**ch’ and my mother in the same sentence?”

As we previously reported late last year, Kiely Williams threw shade at Naturi Naughton following an interview with ‘PEOPLE’ magazine. During the interview, Naturi reflected on 3LW’s breakup, saying “It was a tumultuous breakup. However, I do look back and remember, ‘Oh, I was on the TRL tour, opening up for Destiny’s Child.’”

This prompted Kiely to fire back with “I can’t believe you’re still bitter” in a post on Instagram.
