<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">#KimKardashian, who has been an advocate for prison reform, believes there’s some real benefit to her husband being an outspoken #Trump supporter.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Her main argument to make that case is that if #KanyeWest wasn’t so supportive of Trump, #AliceMarieJohnson would still be in prison serving a sentence for nonviolent, drug-related crime. Just a quick refresher, Johnson was granted clemency by Trump in June after Kim visited the #WhiteHouse and asked Trump to pardon her.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She said all this on #TheAlecBaldwinShow, @<a href="https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/412639-kim-kardashian-if-kanye-wasnt-outspoken-trump-supporter">TheHill</a> reported.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;I do believe she would still be in prison,” Kim said on #TheAlecBaldwinShow. “We&#8217;ve (spoken) about this a few times. Alice always says if it wasn&#8217;t for Kanye speaking up in support of Trump, then she would still be in jail,” she said.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now Kanye, as y’all know, has been publicly voicing support for Trump. He’s been seen many times wearing one of Trump’s signature “Make America Great Again,” hats and earlier this year wrote on Twitter that Trump was his “brother,” saying they are both “dragon energy.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Earlier this month, Trump hosted Kanye for a meeting inside the Oval Office. Ye said during the meeting that Trump is “on his hero’s journey right now” and embraced the president during the meeting, hugging him and saying, “I love this guy.” Also, he told Trump that wearing the MAGA hat made him feel like Superman, his favorite superhero.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Trump has reciprocated the love. On multiple occasions Trump has taken to Twitter to praise Kanye for supporting him, including last month, when Trump wrote that West&#8217;s performance on “Saturday Night Live” was “great.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Like many, I don’t watch Saturday Night Live (even though I past hosted it) &#8211; no longer funny, no talent or charm. It is just a political ad for the Dems. Word is that Kanye West, who put on a MAGA hat after the show (despite being told &#8216;no&#8217;), was great. He’s leading the charge!” Trump tweeted.</span></p>
