#KimKardashian, who has been an advocate for prison reform, believes theres some real benefit to her husband being an outspoken #Trump supporter.
Her main argument to make that case is that if #KanyeWest wasnt so supportive of Trump, #AliceMarieJohnson would still be in prison serving a sentence for nonviolent, drug-related crime. Just a quick refresher, Johnson was granted clemency by Trump in June after Kim visited the #WhiteHouse and asked Trump to pardon her.
She said all this on #TheAlecBaldwinShow, @TheHill reported.
“I do believe she would still be in prison, Kim said on #TheAlecBaldwinShow. We’ve (spoken) about this a few times. Alice always says if it wasn’t for Kanye speaking up in support of Trump, then she would still be in jail, she said.
Now Kanye, as yall know, has been publicly voicing support for Trump. Hes been seen many times wearing one of Trumps signature Make America Great Again, hats and earlier this year wrote on Twitter that Trump was his brother, saying they are both dragon energy.
Earlier this month, Trump hosted Kanye for a meeting inside the Oval Office. Ye said during the meeting that Trump is on his heros journey right now and embraced the president during the meeting, hugging him and saying, I love this guy. Also, he told Trump that wearing the MAGA hat made him feel like Superman, his favorite superhero.
Trump has reciprocated the love. On multiple occasions Trump has taken to Twitter to praise Kanye for supporting him, including last month, when Trump wrote that West’s performance on Saturday Night Live was great.
Like many, I dont watch Saturday Night Live (even though I past hosted it) – no longer funny, no talent or charm. It is just a political ad for the Dems. Word is that Kanye West, who put on a MAGA hat after the show (despite being told ‘no’), was great. Hes leading the charge! Trump tweeted.
