Kim Kardashian is making it pretty clear that she is ready to be legally single once again, and she is asking a judge to do so following the recent posts that Kanye West has made on social media.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Kim expresses that she wants to be divorced as soon as possible. In the documents, she flat out says, “I very much desire to be divorced.” She also states that she has asked Kanye to keep their divorce process private, “but he has not done so.” Kim continued to say, “Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress.”
This is not the first time Kim has asked the judge to declare her legally single as they work through the details of their divorce. As we previously reported, Kim first filed to become legally single last December.
In her recent filing to the judge, Kim states, “While I wish our marriage would have succeeded, I have come to the realization that there is no way to repair our marriage. Kanye does not agree but at least it appears that he has come to the realization that I want to end our marriage, even if he does not.”
TMZ also notes that Kanye has reportedly asked to prevent Kim from transferring assets out of any trust. However, Kim responded by saying that they have a prenup, which keeps their trusts and assets separate.
Kanye has been active on social media, and as of recent, he has been calling out Kim’s current boyfriend Pete Davidson. After making a series of posts about Pete, Ye asked that no one physically hurt Pete after having a conversation with Kim. He showed the text messages with Kim stating, “I’m going to handle the situation myself.”
