<p data-pm-slice="0 0 []">Roommates, Tristan Thompson has secured himself some good news! The NBA player won a libel lawsuit against Kimberly Alexander, who publicly claimed Tristan as the father of her five-year-old son. A paternity test revealed that claim to be false. According to E News, the negative test <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1282804/tristan-thompson-granted-s50-000-in-libel-lawsuit-involving-paternity-accuser-kimberly-alexander">led to a conditional default judgment</a> in Tristan&#8217;s favor, along with a payment of more than $50,000.</p>
<p data-pm-slice="0 0 []">Despite the court&#8217;s decision, Kimberly, also known as Kim Cakery, doesn’t seem to be backing down! She took to her Instagram to let Tristan know the awarded coins won’t cause her to “shut up.”<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p class="p1">“Ask 50 Cent or The Game for the money,” she wrote in an Instagram Story post. “I don’t got it. I’m a single mom of two young kids, instead of trying to take from a mother just take a test to shut me up 50K won’t.”<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p>As you may recall, Kimberly has <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/the-alleged-mother-of-tristan-thompsons-child-goes-on-an-online-rant-demanding-he-take-another-dna-test-im-not-going-anywhere/">relentlessly called out Tristan Thompson</a> and his ex-girlfriend Khloe Kardashian on social media over the last year. She has alleged that a previous paternity test was taken at a Kardashian-affiliated facility. Kimberly even went as far as faking Instagram messages from Khloé in an effort to get Tristan to retake the test. Last month, Khloé responded to Kimberly&#8217;s self-proclaimed trolling with a cease-and-desist letter.</p>
<p>Tristan <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tsr-updatez-tristan-thompson-requests-default-judgement-in-case-against-woman-alleging-hes-the-father-of-her-child/">filed the libel lawsuit</a> last May, but received the judgment on Tuesday. Now, Kimberly faces a payment of $50,000 in general damages, along with $2,901.95 in costs. According to court documents, this payment is about half of Tristan&#8217;s original request, which was $100,000 for &#8220;damages for loss of reputation, shame, mortification, and hurt feelings.&#8221;</p>
<p>Tristan also testified that he hasn&#8217;t received an endorsement deal since 2020. However, the judge only granted the $50,000 due to &#8220;insufficient evidence&#8221; that Kimberly&#8217;s claims are at fault. Tristan retaining this win is dependent on him filing a dismissal. E News reports that he also listed 10 additional, anonymous Doe defendants who are &#8220;responsible in some manner&#8221; for the damages claimed.</p>
<p>Regardless, this win comes at a perfect time for Tristan, whose love life has been in the headlines in recent days. As previously reported, Khloé and Tristan <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/khloe-kardashian-and-tristan-thompson-reportedly-ended-their-relationship-weeks-ago/">ended their latest reunion</a> last month following circulating reports that he stepped out on the relationship &#8212; again. This time the claims came from Instagram model Sydney Chase. Nonetheless, the ex-pair is reportedly committed to co-parenting their three-year-old daughter True.</p>
