#KodakBlack said New Year, free me, Roommates! The rapper reportedly settled two court cases with cash and one of them stems from a no-show from 2016.
According to @Blast, Kodak was paid $100,000 up front to perform a set, but decided to go on vacation. Promoters wanted the rapper to repay the entire deposit to cover the cost of damages they incurred, but they only received $3,000 in restitution.
The “Tunnel Vision” rapper also settled a case in Florida two weeks prior. He had wrecked a BMW and a financing company sued him for damages. Kodak decided to drop a $10,000 settlement.
Hopefully this can be a court-free year for Kodak!
