Roommates, this year has been a crazy one for Kodak Black, and it just got a little more hectic. As we previously reported, Kodak was arrested in Miami outside of the Rolling Loud festival. His charges were pending in regards to gun charges, but it looks like he’s just been indicted.
According to the blast, Kodak was indicted by a grand jury for falsifying paperwork to purchase firearms in Florida. Kodak indicated on the firearm applications that he was not facing any other serious criminal charges. He is also a felon, which prohibits him from purchasing a gun in the first place.
Police obtained the applications from a gun store called ‘Lou’s Police Distributors’ after an ‘extensive investigation. Kodak was met by local police and agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, who took him into custody over the weekend.
Kodak is charged with making a false statement in the acquisition and attempted acquisition of a firearm. He is facing 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Prior to this arrest, Kodak was arrested at the Canadian-U.S. border with a loaded gun. Kodak also recently offered to cover . the funeral expenses for a student who was gunned down in a school shooting in Colorado.
