<p>Kraft Heinz is pulling over 5,000 cases of their child-aimed drink Capri Sun out of the retail market. The company <a href="https://news.kraftheinzcompany.com/press-releases-details/2022/Kraft-Heinz-voluntary-recall-of-select-Capri-Sun-Wild-Cherry-Flavored-Juice-Drink/default.aspx">announced the voluntary recall</a> on Friday via press release. Kraft recalled 5,760 cases of Capri Sun &#8216;Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend&#8217; beverages for a possible cleaning solution contamination.</p>
<p>The diluted cleaning solution made its way into the Capri Sun juice pouches during production at one of its factories. It&#8217;s unclear if it was an employee error, but Kraft says the solution was &#8220;inadvertently introduced into a production line.&#8221; The solution&#8217;s usual purpose is to clean the food processing equipment.</p>
<p>It appears the contamination error slipped past factory employees. The company did not learn about the health threat until several people complained about the Capri Suns. At this time, it&#8217;s unclear how many people complained or if anyone has suffered any severe illness after <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tropicana-set-to-release-limited-edition-toothpaste-that-doesnt-ruin-the-taste-of-orange-juice/">consuming the product</a>.</p>
<p>As expected, the company is working closely with retailers and distributors to get the possible contamination under control. The company says customers can return the relevant Capri Suns to the place of purchase for a refund.</p>

<p>At this time, it&#8217;s unknown how many cases the company has already collected as of Friday&#8217;s recall. However, it did reveal the &#8220;best when used by&#8221; date on the affected Capri Suns as June 25, 2023. The image below describes the recalled products.</p>
