<p>Wednesday officially marked two years since the passing of <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/kobe-and-gianna-bryants-public-memorial-will-be-held-at-the-staples-center-on-february-24th/">Kobe and Gianna</a> </em>Bryant and one person who took the time to honor them was Kobe&#8217;s former teammate Lamar Odom.</p>
<p>Lamar shared a video message as he acknowledged the anniversary of their passing. He shared the video on social media and captioned the video, &#8220;Forever in my heart. Didn’t want to believe it when I heard that you were gone, took me some time to digest that your magic would no longer be available for us here on Earth.&#8221;</p>
<p>He continued, &#8220;I told my manager that I used to stand beside you so some of your &#8216;Magic and Mamba Mentality&#8217; could fall on me. It did. I spent years lost. But being able to pick up the phone and call you to get my ass chewed out always brought me back. If heaven had a phone&#8230;Rest Powerfully Bean. I know you and Mambacita got a few hoop games going on up there. Keep watch over us, until we meet again.&#8221;</p>

<p>Lamar also shared the chain that his management gifted him in honor of Kobe and Gianna.</p>
<p>The chain, which was designed by Scoobie Da Jeweler, consists of the quote, &#8220;Rest at the end, not in the middle,&#8221; which was said by Kobe himself. According to <em><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2022/01/26/lamar-odom-gifted-kobe-gigi-bryant-chain-anniversary-death/">TMZ</a></em>, the chain is made of 25 carats of VS diamonds and is worth around $17,000.</p>
