<p>Earlier this week Saweetie and Quavo made headlines after a video showing an altercation between the two of them on an elevator was released. Now it looks like the Los Angeles Police Department is taking a look into what happened during that particular incident.</p>
<p>According to <em><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2021/04/01/lapd-investigating-quavo-and-saweetie-elevator-video/">TMZ</a></em>, law enforcement sources revealed that LAPD detectives have seen the video that they shared earlier this week, which showed an encounter with Saweetie and Quavo interacting in an aggressive manner. The site reports that now authorities want to meet with both parties to discuss what happened during that incident.</p>
<p>The law enforcement source reportedly told the site, it could be considered a domestic violence incident where both parties are in the wrong. However, police want to determine what happened before and after the elevator footage was recorded.</p>
<p>As <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/altercation-between-quavo-saweetie-caught-on-elevator-video/">previously</a></em> reported, the incident took place last year, prior to their recent breakup. Since the release of the footage, Saweetie nor Quavo has spoken out about the incident.</p>
<p>In the video, Saweetie seemed to seemingly make a gesture towards Quavo before the rest of their altercation unfolded inside of the the elevator.</p>
<p>Many other celebrities have also been sharing their thoughts on the situation, while the former couple continues to remain quite.</p>
<p>As mentioned before, <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/boxer-adrien-broner-comments-on-viral-video-of-altercation-between-quavo-saweetie-i-aint-see-nothing-wrong-in-that-video/">Adrien Broner</a></em> was one person who shared his opinion and said, &#8220;I ain’t see nothing wrong in that video. If you ask me that’s black love, if me and my significant other don’t argue like that den I don’t want her cause I rather have somebody who might punch me while I’m sleep, before I take a beautiful women who sneak off and f**k another n***a while I’m sleep…it’s the black tough love for me.&#8221;</p>
<p>Saweetie confirmed her split from Quavo last month after breakup rumors started to circulate once people realized they were no longer following each other on Instagram.</p>
