<h3 style="text-align: center;">Pippen Doubles Down On Her Hairstyle Choice</h3>
<p>The matter was brought up during Part 3 of the <em>RHOM </em>Season 5 Reunion which aired Thursday, as Andy Cohen read out a viewer question that tackled the subject head-on.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Watching the tease for the season, I noticed you were sporting braids in the Bahamas. Fashion-wise, you can pull it off. But do you think it&#8217;s really culturally appropriate? I think you&#8217;re going to get a lot of backlash.&#8221;</p></blockquote>

<p>In response, Larsa declared, &#8220;I don&#8217;t think [I&#8217;m getting backlash] to be honest with you.&#8221;</p>
<p>She went on to share, &#8220;I mean, I&#8217;m not white, so I don&#8217;t know—my mom used to wear braids.&#8221;</p>
<p>Larsa followed this defense up by sharing that her kids, who are biracial, have a braider do their hair &#8220;every ten days.&#8221;</p>
<p>The reality star added, &#8220;If I&#8217;m going on a trip, I don&#8217;t want to have to deal with my hair, [so] I&#8217;ll have her braid my hair.&#8221;</p>
<p>Andy then asked costar Kiki Barth what she thinks about the subject. In response, she shared that she thinks people &#8220;should just embrace&#8221; Larsa&#8217;s decision to rock box braids.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Larsa Previously Defended The Braids By Saying Her &#8216;Grandparents Are Moroccan&#8217;</h3>
<p>We have to also add that Larsa defended her decision to wear the braids in a confessional that aired during the Bahamas trip.</p>
<p>After being asked to elaborate on her hairstyle decision, Larsa pointed out that her &#8220;grandparents are Moroccan.&#8221; The influencer added she&#8217;s &#8220;always worn braids&#8221; when she goes on vacation.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;My grandparents are Moroccan. My mom had braids when she was a kid. I&#8217;ve been braiding my hair every time I&#8217;ve gone on vacation since I can remember. My honeymoon pictures, my hair was braided. When I was 18 years old, my hair was braided. I&#8217;ve always worn braids when I travel.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Jen Shah Also Donned Box Braids On <em>RHOSLC</em></h3>
<p>While speaking on the subject, we should note that Larsa Pippen isn&#8217;t the only non-Black Housewife who recently opted to don box braids.</p>
<p>Specifically, recently-incarcerated <em>The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City </em>star Jen Shah was wearing box braids when she was arrested just before a Season 2 <a href="https://screenrant.com/rhoslc-why-jen-shah-arrest-trip-vail-iconic/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cast trip</a> to Vail, Colorado.</p>
