<p><strong>Lauren London</strong> is opening up about healing and parenting after experiencing loss. Additionally, the 38-year-old mother of two is sharing how she &#8220;protects&#8221; her &#8220;peace.&#8221;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Lauren London Talks Her &#8220;Intentional Healing Journey&#8221;</h3>
<p>Lauren London sat down for an exclusive interview on &#8216;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZ-agZIQOuE" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TODAY with Hoda and Jenna</a>,&#8217; which aired on Wednesday, November 8. As the conversation unfolded, the 38-year-old shared that she is on a <strong>&#8220;very intentional healing journey.&#8221;</strong></p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I feel like after going through something very traumatic&#8230; it opened me up to everything that ever happened in my life, and so instead of being so vulnerable, I&#8217;m like cracked up,&#8221; London explained. &#8220;I cannot go back to who I was in the past; I just have to keep going. So I&#8217;ve been on this very intentional healing journey for four years now.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>London acknowledged that as people, &#8220;we are always evolving.&#8221; However, the actor noted that during this time in her life, she is being &#8220;extremely conscious&#8221; about her evolution.</p>

<p>As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/eric-holder-jr-sentenced-to-60-years-to-life-in-prison/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, London lost her spouse and father of her youngest son, rapper <strong>Nipsey Hussle</strong>, in March 2019. The rapper was gunned down outside of his clothing store in Los Angeles, California. Since then, a man named Eric Holder has been sentenced to 60 years to life in connection to the rapper&#8217;s death.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Actor Shares How Experiencing Grief Has Impacted Her Parenting</h3>
<p>As the conversation continued, the 38-year-old explained that grief can feel very isolating. However, talking about it collectively can allow one to feel less alone. The mother of two explained that she&#8217;s been &#8220;extremely open&#8221; about the &#8220;grief process&#8221; with her children.</p>
<p>As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/lil-wayne-recalls-mother-asking-him-for-a-grandchild-at-14/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, London shares her eldest son with rapper Lil Wayne.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I think I&#8217;ve been extremely open with them about the grief process as well, as much as I can,&#8221; London shared. &#8220;But also, I&#8217;m just extremely intentional with them and really conscious of how I&#8217;m influencing them and how I&#8217;m showing up for them.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>The actor added that experiencing grief has made her &#8220;more compassionate now as a mother,&#8221; and she&#8217;s even doing inner child and teenage &#8220;work&#8221; to understand her children better.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I always say they deserve a happy, healthy, joyful mom, and I don&#8217;t want to rob them of that experience,&#8221; the 38-year-old stated.</p></blockquote>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Lauren London Shares How She&#8217;s &#8220;Protecting&#8221; Her &#8220;Peace&#8221;</h3>
<p>Before wrapping the conversation, London shared how she &#8220;protects&#8221; her &#8220;peace.&#8221; The mother explained that she says &#8220;no a lot&#8221; and has become very intentional about the projects and roles she aligns herself with in her acting career.</p>
<p>Outside of her personal life and career, the actor is also preparing to release her third apparel collection in collaboration with Puma. The collection is called &#8220;Protect Your Peace&#8221; and is a mantra London says is &#8220;really important now&#8221; with how she&#8217;s living her life.</p>
