Last night, #LaurynHill’s son Joshua Omaru Marley apparently released a snippet of a song that he says belongs to Drake and featured his mom. “Drake x Mom…Nobody has this but me,” he captioned the clip. In another clip, he added, “And i ain’t giving nobody sh*t.”
In the song which the internet has tentatively titled “Showin’ Off,” Drake appears to repeat a hook, “You’ve been inside, know you like to lay low,” he raps. “I’ve been peepin’ what you bringing to the table / Working hard, girl, everything paid for.”
Now, it was just announced that Lauryn has joined the Pitchfork Music Festival lineup and Drake recently revealed that he is going to drop an album soon, so is this just to generate buzz or should we owe our eyes peeled?
