<p>Roommates, despite being opponents on the court, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/jared-kushner-says-nba-players-are-very-fortunate-to-be-able-to-take-a-night-off-from-work-invites-lebron-james-to-the-white-house/">LeBron James</a> and Carmelo Anthony are very good friends that date back decades. Taking to his Instagram account, LeBron James posted a very heart-warming message to Carmelo Anthony as a tribute to their 20-year friendship.</p>
<p>Just hours after the Los Angeles Lakers <a href="https://lakersdaily.com/lebron-james-dedicates-beautiful-message-to-carmelo-anthony-after-playoff-duel/">knocked out</a> the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the NBA playoffs, LeBron James decided to express his true feelings about his long-standing friendship with Trail Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony, by making a post on his Instagram page.</p>
<p>LeBron wrote the following message to Carmelo:</p>
<p><em>“Going on 20 years of friendship to date my brother and it will always be a privilege and honor to do what we love to do and that’s hoop! Never taking these moments for granted cause I just don’t know how many more we got together out there but what I do know is we have the rest of our lives afterwards to continue to live it up to the fullest. Love CHAMP!!!”</em></p>

<p>The two players have been friends for years, having both been among the early picks of the legendary 2003 NBA Draft.</p>
<p>LeBron James was the top overall selection by the Cleveland Cavaliers when he entered the NBA, while Anthony was drafted by the Denver Nuggets as the third overall pick. It’s nice to see two men embracing their friendship!</p>
