Y’all remember when that nasty love triangle between Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey, and Eminem that had the nearly 2000s blazing? Mariah blessed us with her diss don’t “Obsessed” as an ode to the 8 Miles rapper while denying that she had any relations with him. Well word on the street is Nick Cannon is stepping up to revive the old rivalry!
During Nick’s most recent visit with DJ Tim Westwood, he told listeners that he is on the roster to host a rap battle around the time of the 2016 BET Awards. He challenged artists like Tyga to a battle but he more specifically is gunning for Em’.
“I done reached out to Tyga. He didn’t want it. I went to all Slaughterhouse.” Nick said. “I did it like Mortal Kombat, I said I’ll take all of them out to get to the boss.”
Unfortunately it’s looking like the whole Slaughterhouse declined his offer. Even though it will probably be unlikely that Eminem accepts Nick’s offer but for wishful thinking if he did, he stands to win $100k!! Yass chile!
So is there still animosity between Nick and Em’?!
Nick didn’t make it seem that way. Westwood asked him about the feud and Nick made it seem like things were cordial but he still wants another take at Em’.
Y’all remember when Em’ dropped that diss track “The Warning” after Mariah Dropped “Obsessed?” It was supposed to be some Nick Cannon shade and Nick responded accordingly not too long after but his response didn’t receive much play so that may explain why he’s looking for a rematch!
“I’m still ready! I’m trying to find him. Where is he?” Nick told Westwood.
Westwood gave Nick a dose of reality reminding him who Eminem is to the rap game.
We wonder how far this will go!
